Cosmetic Device Technology

Our cosmetic devices may use non-invasive cosmetic technologies, including visible light, red light, vibration, thermotherapy, microcurrent, electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), or mechanical application, solely to enhance the cosmetic appearance of the skin when used as directed. They are not intended to affect the structure or function of the body, perform medical treatments, or replace professional in-office procedures.

Safety & Precautions

Use all products only as directed and review all instructions, warnings, and precautions before use. Avoid direct exposure to the eyes. Discontinue use immediately if irritation, discomfort, or adverse reactions occur. Do not use on broken, inflamed, infected, or compromised skin. Do not use damaged or malfunctioning devices. Do not open, modify, or attempt to repair any device.

Skin & Metal Sensitivity

Some Renewa Skin devices have electroplated metal contact surfaces or gold-plated needle tips that may contain nickel, chromium, or other metals. Nickel is a common cause of skin sensitivity. If you have a known or suspected allergy or sensitivity to nickel, chromium, gold, or other metals, consult a healthcare professional before use. Stop using the product immediately and remove it from the skin if you notice redness, itching, rash, swelling, or any other sign of irritation or allergic reaction, and seek medical advice if symptoms persist.

Medical Conditions & Pregnancy

Individuals with existing medical conditions or special health considerations should consult a qualified healthcare professional before use. This includes, without limitation, those who are pregnant or nursing; have implanted electronic devices (such as pacemakers); have photosensitivity; have neurological conditions or seizure disorders; have eye or vision conditions; have active skin conditions, impaired healing, or compromised immune systems; or use medications that may increase skin or light sensitivity.

Eye-Area Product Safety

Products for use around the eye area are for external cosmetic application only. For eye-area devices: avoid direct contact with the eyes, do not shine light into the eyes, use only on the external under-eye area, and discontinue if visual discomfort, irritation, or sensitivity occurs. For eye creams, serums, and roll-ons (including retinol-based formulas): avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes, use sparingly and as directed, and discontinue if irritation occurs; retinol may increase sensitivity. Not intended for children.

Micro-Infusion / Micro-Needling & Skin-Contact Products

Certain products, including the Micro-Infusion System, use fine needles that create tiny punctures in the skin for cosmetic purposes. They are not intended to perform medical micro-needling, alter skin structure, or replace professional dermatologic treatments. Use only on intact, healthy skin. Needle heads are single-use and sterile: do not share, reuse, or use a damaged needle head, and dispose of used heads per local regulations. Do not use on or near active breakouts, eczema, rosacea, infection, or irritated, inflamed, or broken skin, and use caution around the eye area. Follow all sanitation and after-care instructions. Temporary redness or sensitivity may occur and typically fades; stop use and seek advice if irritation, swelling, or signs of infection persist. See also Skin & Metal Sensitivity above.

Topical Creams & Serums

Topical products are for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. A patch test is recommended prior to first use. Discontinue use if redness, itching, or irritation occurs.
